What to tell your kids about COVID-19?

Updated: Mar 15, 2020

So I've loved Post-Apocalyptic Movies and TV Shows since I was a kid. So obviously the visuals from Asia regarding the Coronavirus can get stuck in my head. The empty streets and baseball stadiums are very visceral and remind me of the feelings I had when I watched those movies. It's scary! But I'm still going to work . Somehow I still eat out (way too much!). I am living my life. Mostly because over the years I've developed a filter to turn down the volume of those thoughts and turn up the volume of other thoughts. Our kids may not have that filter. I found a few articles on how to talk about this with your kids or friends with anxiety if necessary.
